If you’re in a band, if you’re an aspiring artist or producer, or if you’re interested in any of the many behind-the-scenes careers in the music industry, our Music Industry Studies Program is for you.
Students have the opportunity to be involved in such real time music industry projects as live performances, video productions and real time music marketing projects.

HOUSE OF BLUES MUSIC FORWARD FOUNDATION
Celebrating our 25th anniversary in 2018, Music Forward was first established in 1993 as the International House of Blues Foundation (IHOBF). The founders of House of Blues envisioned IHOBF as a charitable arm that they could use to bring the arts to schools and communities through programs that promoted cultural understanding, encouraged creative expression, and manifested their core belief of Unity In Diversity.
The organization officially changed its legal name to House of Blues Music Forward Foundation in 2014, and later shortened its moniker to Music Forward to help the public understand its role as an independent 501(c)(3) provider of direct services for youth.
Music Forward has impacted over 1,000,000 young lives and invested $25 million towards providing transformational music opportunities to youth from under-represented communities during the last 25 years.
HOB/MFF BRINGING DOWN THE HOUSE
Bringing Down the House is a chance for talented musicians, ages 14-20, to connect with music industry insiders through interactive workshop sessions and showcase your talent on legendary stages.
Six to eight Bands or Solo Artists in four cities will be selected to participate.
This opportunity is being offered free-of-charge to musicians in: Chicago, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans.
